Check your home's floor plan against Vastu, room by room.

Upload a plan or sketch one in the app. VastuLive reads the rooms, the entrance and North, then tells you where each room sits against the traditional rules, with the rule and the evidence behind every finding.

What the report tells you

One report for the whole plan, and a finding for every room.

Example finding

Kitchen · South-east

Most texts place the stove in the south-east corner, the fire corner (Agneya).

Matches the traditional rule

  • A score for the plan

A single number for how the plan sits against the rules, so two plans or two flats can be compared.

  • A finding for each room

Each finding names the rule, shows where the room sits, and says whether that matches the tradition.

  • Suggestions that need no building work

Where a room sits against the rule, the app may suggest moving a stove, a bed or a shelf. It never suggests breaking a wall.

  • A PDF to keep

Export the report to share with family, a builder or an architect.

How it works

  1. 1

    Add a floor plan

Photograph or upload a plan, or sketch one in the app.

  2. 2

    Confirm the rooms and North

VastuLive reads the rooms, the entrance and the North marking. If it is unsure, it asks you. It does not guess North.

  3. 3

    Read the report

Go through the score, the room findings and the optional suggestions, then export the PDF if you want one.

What Vastu and this app can and cannot do

  • Vastu is a traditional system. The report describes what texts and practitioners say, and traditions differ.
  • VastuLive does not promise health, money, marriage or any other result from a placement.
  • Suggestions are non-structural. For walls, plots, load or legal questions, ask a qualified architect or engineer and your local authority.
  • Your birth chart never changes a home's Vastu score.

Common questions

What does VastuLive check?

VastuLive reads the rooms, the entrance and the North marking on a floor plan, then compares where each room sits with traditional Vastu rules. The report gives a score for the plan and a finding for each room, naming the rule and the evidence behind it. Traditions differ, so findings describe what the texts say.

What if the plan has no North marked?

The app asks you to confirm North and will not guess it, because every finding depends on it. You tell the app which way North points, and it reads each room's direction from that. Without a confirmed North, it cannot say which direction a room sits in, so it reports no direction at all.

Does it tell me to knock down walls?

No. Suggestions are things like moving a stove, a bed or a shelf, or clearing a corner, and every one is optional. The app never suggests breaking a wall. For structural, legal or safety questions, ask a qualified architect or engineer, and your local authority, before changing anything.

Is Vastu science?

Vastu is a traditional practice, and VastuLive presents it that way. Good daylight and ventilation are sensible in any home, but the placement rules rest on tradition, not on measurement or proof. Traditions differ between schools and regions, and VastuLive does not promise any result from following them.
